![]() Not only will there be several Datapoints in these areas, but there will also be a few cutscenes that play out. With Horizon Call of the Mountain, Sony is hoping to have an exclusive big-budget VR game to entice players to the new PSVR 2. You know you're getting near the end when you come across Sobeck's office, and then her memorial. You'll be led on a walk through the destroyed facility, learning more and more about what happened near the end of the Old World. If you aren't interested in those, simply keep pushing forward and follow the objective marker. ![]() The only reason to branch off is to collect Datapoints. The following section is entirely linear. Walk to the left of the zipline and you can jump to one of the marked climbing spots/ledges on the other side and climb up. There is a zipline you can take and jump to a ledge, but it's surprisingly easy to fall to your death here and have to retrace your entire path up the mountain, so take the safe approach instead. Complete it first, lest you want to have to climb up the entire mountain once more.Īs you resume your path to the main quest, you'll come to an area that requires you to jump a gap. You don't need any further upgrades, and the armor can wait as this mission is entirely story-based. Note: It may be tempting to abandon the quest with your final Power Cell in hand and head to claim your prize, but be patient. Walk into the open hangar here to find what should be your fifth and last Power Cell. Above, to the left, you'll see a blue-lit area that you can climb to. Your quest continues to the right, but you should take a short detour to the left. After speaking to him, unlock the door behind him then carry on.Ĭlimb down the elevator shaft and when you get to the open ravine area, you'll see a grapple point. The first main thing you'll come across is a room Sylens uses as a workshop. There is now a way into the ruins, via a yellow rope ladder (this path was barred if you came here earlier in the game). Once you get to the Gaia ruins, you'll follow a brief section of walkways and another short climbing section. It may be hard to see the climbing hooks and ledges when you're exploring the area at night, but you'll find a simple way up at every rock wall. There is a lot of climbing and other odd traversal segments, so be prepared for a lot of movement based obstacles to overcome. Soon you'll climb your way into the Gaia Prime area. You can also refill your medicine pouch as you keep climbing up as there are plenty of plants here. Don't worry too much about ammo or health, as the Stormbird is the last enemy you actually face during this mission. ![]() Once defeated, continue following the objective marker. Use your Focus to see the destructible/removable elements and use the rock in the area to escape from the Stormbird when it's on foot. Tearblast Arrows are another great way to blow off several chunks of armor all at once. You can pin it to the ground, then pummel it with arrows or other attacks before the ropes break. They can be a pain to deal with simply because they rarely stay still, so use the Ropecaster to solve this. You've likely fought Stormbirds before, so this fight won't be much different if you choose to fight it. There will come a point where you fight a Stormbird, which can also be avoided by just dodging what it throws at you and continuing to run towards the destination until the next cutscene. If you've come here earlier in the mission, you may have already taken out all or some of the enemies. ![]() You can fight your way through these, or by using stealth, you can simply run past them. The higher you climb, the more plentiful and stronger they become. You will also begin encountering machines atop the various sections of the mountain.
